Preparatory meeting of the workshop on “Managing Transboundary Priority Areas: Towards a Governance Strategy for the South Adriatic Ionian Straight Ecologically or Biologically Significant Marine Area (SAIS-EBSA)”

The workshop Steering Committee members gathered on December 4^th, 2020, from 14:00-16:30, to brainstorm on the focus, agenda and potential participants of the workshop on “Managing Transboundary Priority Areas: Towards a Governance Strategy for the South Adriatic Ionian Straight Ecologically or Biologically Significant Marine Area (SAIS-EBSA)”, scheduled for May/June 2021.

In this preparatory meeting, the main topic were the recommendations from the workshop with the same title, held in Montenegro on 31^st of May, 2019, and the peculiarities of the SAIS-EBSA region. The SC members agreed on the scope of the governance model to apply to assess during the 2021 workshop, whose official dates will be announced soon.
